National Museum Unveils Exciting February Program with Array of Events

Riyadh, February 9, 2023

The National Museum has today announced February programs that it will organize from February 11 to 28. These programs are designed to provide visitors with a unique cultural experience. They include three workshops held in collaboration with the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts: making pottery light, making pottery boxes to store coins, and making natural dyes for adults and children. The Museum also organizes the “Philosophy of Love” panel session. The National Museum hosts a workshop on making pottery lights for children. Children will look into the aesthetics of the pottery artifacts at the National Museum and then create their own. The interactive “Making Pottery Box to Store Coins” workshop will be offered to adult visitors. The program also offers two workshops on making natural dyes for children and adults, with the aim of exploring the National Museum’s nooks and crannies while getting inspired by the aesthetics of their colors to create innovative artifacts.

The program includes a panel session titled “Philosophy of Love” on February 16 at the Museum, with speakers Dr. Mohammad Al-Hajji, Dr. Hasan Al-Shareef, and Dr. Khaled Al-Ghattas, as well as the exhibition “Time, Nature, Love.” These interactive events are part of the programs organized by the National Museum, which target different groups of society. These events feature live performances, workshops, panel sessions, and other activities associated with national events. The objective is to provide both engaging cultural content and a cohesive museum experience.
