Hijrah: In the Footsteps of the Prophet tells the important and inspirational story of prophet Muhammad (PBUH)’s migration from Makkah to Madinah. This journey shaped the beginning of Islam, which went on to become a civilization that has changed the world.

The exhibition charts the same path taken by that of the Prophet (PBUH), bringing history to life through accessible and captivating storytelling, stunning multimedia, immersive reconstructions, and the display of ancient artifacts juxtaposed with contemporary art. The Hijrah exhibition reconstructs the Prophet Mohammed's (PBUH) migration in meticulous detail, creating an emotive and thought-provoking experience for visitors of all ages and backgrounds.

Hijrah: In the Footsteps of the Prophet is an important cultural collaboration between King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) and the National Museum of Saudi Arabia.
