Taif Literary Club Organizes a Poetry Evening in Conjunction with the Taif Rose Season

Taif Literary Club organized a poetry evening titled “Fragrance of Roses” as part of the activities of the fifth edition of the “Literary Partner” initiative, coinciding with the Taif rose season, in the presence of intellectuals and those interested in literary affairs. The evening explored the connection between poetry and the aesthetics of roses, as well as the symbolic meanings roses carry within literary texts. Poets Taher Al-Thaqafi, Adel Al-Husaini, and Abdullah Al-Asmari took turns presenting the evening’s program, reciting poetic works with diverse themes in which the rose appeared as a prominent aesthetic element in the poetic structure. In the context of critical engagement, Ali Khadr Al-Thubaiti highlighted the artistic quality of the evening, praising the variety of poetic experiences it featured.
