More Than a Quarter Million Students in Taif Education Participate in the 2026 Global Forum for Roses and Aromatic Plants Activities

The General Administration of Education in Taif is preparing to participate in the second edition of the Global Forum for Roses and Aromatic Plants 2026, which will launch next Sunday, March 29, and continue for two weeks. The participation will feature a schedule of events and interactive programs involving more than a quarter of a million male and female students. The administration explained that this participation comes within the framework of strengthening students’ connection to their cultural and historical identity, and reinforcing the status of the Taif rose as one of the most prominent heritage, tourism, and recreational symbols of the governorate. It also noted that the activities will include organizing a Rose Parade with the participation of students, illuminating school facades and educational buildings, allocating a dedicated information corner for the administration throughout the forum, and involving volunteer and scout teams in organization and coordination. The Director General of Education in Taif, Dr. Saeed Al-Ghamdi, affirmed that the administration’s participation aims to develop students’ artistic and cultural appreciation, strengthen their connection to local heritage, and foster a sense of national pride through engagement with activities that highlight Taif’s identity and rich history.
