The Museums Commission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) is delighted to announce the second International Conference for Education and Innovation in Museums (ICEIM' 25) to be held on 28-30 June 2025 at King Fahad Cultural Centre, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. ICEIM invites scholars, practitioners, and educators from around the world to submit original research that addresses the evolving role of museums in education and society.

    Abstracts and Biography

      Abstracts should include the following information when submitting:

    • Prefix and full name(s)
    • Associated body or institution (if applicable)
    • Email address
    • Phone number
    • Brief topic description (1–2 sentences)
    • Conference theme: write 'Education' and/or 'Innovation' if your research fits one of these two themes. Abstracts should clearly link research to indicated theme(s) presented in your oral presentation.
    • What are the key new questions your research explores?
    • How does your approach and methodology break new ground compared to existing research?
    • What are the anticipated or preliminary findings of your study?
    • What are the implications of your research?
    • Add a bio note (150 words maximum)
    • Please submit your abstract and bio note by 15 December 2024.
    • Authors will be notified of acceptance/rejection by 31 January 2025.

    Full Papers

    • Accepted authors will be invited to submit full papers by Monday, April 14, 2025.
    • Full papers should be between 5,000 and 7,000 words, including references.

    Documentation and Validation: Presenting research at ICEIM is instrumental for documenting studies and presentign findings to mark major milestones in musuem development, offering a critical means of validating research outcomes.

    Critique and Review: Research papers have undergone evaluation by conference experts and specialists to enhance and refine scholarly contributions, driving continuous improvement and development.

    Communication and Relationship Building: ICEIM will facilitate seamless communication, idea exchange, and relationship-building among researchers and museum enthusiasts, fostering meaningful connections within the field
