This includes publishing roles, distribution, digital publishing technologies, and audio publishing, as well as any innovative solutions that help deliver cultural content to readers in new and effective ways.

Translation

Targeting projects and companies that focus on translating cultural and literary content from and into the Arabic language, while promoting cultural exchange between the Kingdom and the world. This track includes translation technologies, translation platforms, and projects that aim to translate global literature and present it to an Arabic audience, as well as translating Arabic literature into other languages.

Bootcamp Requirements

Startups

  • Startup must be related to the literature, publishing, or translation sector.
  • Startup must be innovative and serve the value chain in the sector.
  • There should be preliminary indicators of the idea demonstrating the expected impact or an MVP.
  • Nomination of at least one representative from the team to attend and participate in the bootcamp  in Riyadh.
  • The team must possess the technical, administrative and managerial skills necessary to implement the project.

Individuals

  • Applicants must have an initial idea to start a project or the ability to join an innovative venture within the fields of literature, publishing, or translation.
  • Open to Saudi nationals or residents of Saudi Arabia.
  • Applicants should possess technical and managerial skills to support project implementation. These skills can also enhance your ability to form a strong team during the program.
