The Heritage Commission, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, is hosting the fourth edition of "Banan: The Saudi International Handicrafts Week." The Heritage Commission aims to draw attention to traditional industries and crafts, draw in professionals and scholars, and bring together a sizable number of domestic and foreign craftspeople to produce, market, and display their goods to the visitors.

Artisans

Participating artisans will display and market their handcrafted goods in addition to providing live craft demonstrations.

الشروط والأحكام

  1. The type of craft must be specified to match the designer with appropriate artisans
  2. The Handcraft work must emphasize traditional crafts through materials, engravings, or application
  3. There must be no prior displays of the Handcraft work
  4. The concept needs to be unique and unrepeated
  1. The participant must be above 18 years old.
  2. Accommodation and flight tickets will be covered for the participating artisan only.
  3. Ensure that all products are ready and delivered at least 2 days prior to the event.
  4. Prepare a clear list of product quantities, images and prices.
  5. Commit to working hours and ensure the shop remains open during official working hours.
  6. Arrive at the venue at least 2 days before the start of the exhibition.
  7. Provide sufficient product quantities to cover the entire participation period.
  8. Consider the size of the artworks so they are small and easy to carry, and ensure prices are reasonable.
  1. A set of high-quality images of the artisan’s work or participating products.
  2. A copy of the passport.
  3. Links to social media accounts.
  4. A portfolio including high-quality images highlighting the artisan’s key achievements.
  1. Exhibition Space: Each artisan will have an area to showcase and sell their goods, with a specially made booth for each participating nation.
  2. Logistics: Including visa processing for participants, procurement of airline tickets, airport reception and departure assistance, arrangement of hotel accommodations, and coordination of daily transportation to and from the event venue.
  3. Medical Support; Provision of emergency medical services.
