نبذة عن الفعالية

The Heritage Commission, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, is hosting the third edition of "Banan: The Saudi International Handicrafts Week." The Heritage Commission aims to draw attention to traditional industries and crafts, draw in professionals and scholars, and bring together a sizable number of domestic and foreign craftspeople to produce, market, and display their goods to the visitors.

Artisans

Participating artisans will display and market their handcrafted goods in addition to providing live craft demonstrations.

Designers will take part in the "Craft Arts Village" by presenting design concepts that showcase the beauty of crafts through unique artistic works.

الشروط والأحكام

  1. The type of craft must be specified to match the designer with appropriate artisans
  2. The artwork must emphasize traditional crafts through materials, engravings, or application
  3. There must be no prior displays of the artwork
  4. The concept needs to be unique and unrepeated
  1. Participants must be at least 18 years old.
  2. Accommodation, tickets, and shipping costs will cover the participant only
  3. Product readiness and submission due date on September the 1st 2025
  4. The product inventory must be listed to facilitate delivery and return logistics.
  5. Participants must arrive two days before the event to set up their booths.
  6. The first participation group period starts from the 13th of November until the 19th – The second participation group period starts from the 20th of November until the 26th. Each participation group will be selected according to the Heritage Commission.
  7. In the event that an artisan/entrepreneur/association withdraws after final selection, the participant will bear the cost of the flight, accommodation, and product shipping.
  1. A collection of high-quality photos of the participating products or the artisan's work.
  2. A copy of the passport
  3. Social media account links.
  4. A portfolio document with high-resolution photos showcasing high resolution pictures.
  1. Exhibition Space: Each artisan will have a 2 x 2 m area to showcase and sell their goods, with a specially made booth for each participating nation.
  2. Logistics: consisting of product packaging and shipping, visa processing, airline tickets, airport pickup and drop-off, hotel accommodations, main meals, and daily transportation to and from the event location.
  3. Medical Support; Provision of emergency medical services.
