About the Program

In line with its belief that talented individuals are the cornerstone of a developed and thriving music sector, the Music Commission is launching The Virtual Training Program 'San'ah' to support local talent and enhance the production of musical content. The virtual program is part of the Ministry’s efforts to develop the music sector and support individuals and institutions in the field.

Objectives

General Terms

  • - These terms and conditions apply upon participation in the Virtual Music Training Program.
  • - By using the Program website, you agree to be committed by these terms and conditions.
  • - The Music Commission may exclude the participant if it becomes evident, for reasons held by the Music Commission, that the candidate is not eligible based on the terms and conditions of the Program and its general approach.
  • - The Music Commission may withhold some tracks in the program if necessary. The participant must be fully credible at all stages of the Program, in addition to attending and completing all stages of the Program.
  • - The participant can withdraw from the program prior to the date 30 June 2021 with the condition of informing the Program Management Team by sending an email to Engage@moc.gov.sa of their decision to be disregarded in the remaining stages.
  • - The Music Commission has the right to publish information about the participant and the Program on the website and social media accounts.
  • - The Music Commission reserves the right to cancel, extend, or make any amendments to the program or its terms and conditions from time to time, therefore the candidate must regularly review these terms and conditions. The Music Commission may not announce any changes made to these terms and conditions.
  • - All participants must be present in a quiet place with a high-speed internet connection.
  • - If needed, the administration has the right to request more information to verify the participant's data or details of his/her participation.

Participant Terms

  • - The participant must be at least 20 years of age.
  • - The participant must be Saudi national or have a Saudi mother.
  • - Participation will be received through the program's online platform, exclusively. Other methods of participation will not be accepted.
  • - The participant must be committed to the start date and deadline to submit participations in all tracks.
  • - The participant must pass an English language test if needed.
  • - The participant must have a good command of English language, as the training program are in English language.
  • - The participant must hold a bachelor's or diploma degree.
  • - The participant must have a demonstrated interest in the music industry, specifically in one of the program tracks.
  • - All documents provided must be complete and correct (CV, copy of university degree, and examples of music-related work, if available).
  • - The participant must commit to attend and complete all stages of the program. If required, the administration has the right to request more information to verify the participant's data or details of his/her participation.

Intellectual Property

  • - The Music Commission will maintain the detailed files attached to the participation form or e-mailed.
  • - Participants agree that the Music Commission, or any third party authorized by the Music Commission, can publish what it deems appropriate from the participation or screenshots of training sessions on the platform or in any other media format, whether known or emerging in the future, including websites, mobile phones, TV, and radio, among others.

Legal Responsibility

  • - These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as applied in Riyadh and as per the media legislator in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute that may arise shall be referred to the competent courts of Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, not exclusively.
  • - At any stage of the Program, the Music Commission reserves the right to exclude any work that does not comply with the terms and conditions, evaluation criteria, the general approach of the program, or any other reason the Music Commission deems as a reason for exclusion. The Music Commission reserves the right to cancel or amend the initiative without prior notice and the participant has no right to object.
  • - The Music Commission does not bear any responsibility for any material losses, damage, disappointment, or any psychological damage incurred by the participant as a result of participating in the Initiative. The Music Commission does not bear any responsibility if wrong or inaccurate information has been delivered due to human error or technical faults such as loss of or delay in transferring or deleting data, malfunction of phone line, computer or network, computer accessories, software or any other reasons that may block entering the site. The participant must always ensure that the materials are submitted correctly and consistently.
  • - By using the program platform, the participant acknowledges the right of the Music Commission to keep all the submitted files and attachments in its archive.
  • - The participant must adhere to full credibility at all stages of the program, and must commit to attend (when necessary) and complete all stages of the program him/herself; no one is permitted to act on his/her behalf at any stage of the program, unless otherwise approved formally by the Music Commission.
  • - By using the Program platform, the participant acknowledges the right of the Music Commission to request more information or documents to support participation and verify credibility.

    What is The Virtual Training Program 'San'ah'?

  • The Virtual Training Program 'San'ah' is a program to support the production of musical content. During the program, the skills of those interested and professionals in the field will be developed through unique training sessions that are provided by experts through cooperation with the most prominent institutions around the world in this field.
  • How can I participate?

  • You can participate by visiting the main page and then selecting the track that you would like to participate in, then clicking on the "Participate Now" button. After that, you may fill in the Participation form to participate.
  • Is the participant required to pay a fee to participate in the program?

  • The Virtual Training Program is fully sponsored by the Music Commission. Therefore, no fees are required.
  • Are there verified certificates for each training program?

  • Yes, the training agency will provide a verified certificate which is also approved by the Music Commission for each training program upon completion of the full program.
  • Are foreign children of Saudi mothers able to participate in the program?

  • Yes, they are entitled to participate and are treated as Saudi citizens.
  • Is proficiency in English required in all training programs?

  • English language proficiency is required, as the training programs are offered in English only.
  • How to know if I have been accepted?

  • You will receive an acceptance email to the same email you originally registered with.

  • Who is the training agency for the program?

  • The training agency is SMB (The School of Music Business).
  • What are the training courses?

  • 4 training courses: one training course is mandatory for all participants, and 3 different courses in which the participant registers based on his/her interest.

  • I have not received the activation email after registration. What should I do?

  • Can I send the submission through mail?

  • No, all submissions must be submitted through the official website of the program. Any submission received through email or any other means will not be accepted.
  • How can I make sure that my participation has been received?

  • You will receive a confirmation email to the same email you originally registered with.
  • What language to use for participation?

  • Participation can be submitted only in English.
