In alignment with the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Global Center for Arabic Calligraphy Initiative, this competition aims to honor this enduring legacy, promote its importance, and highlight the beauty of Arabic calligraphy as a unique artistic discipline. The initiative also seeks to inspire calligraphers to explore their creative potential and produce works that preserve the identity of Arabic calligraphy and the heritage of Islamic art.

Adherence to the recognized technical rules of each calligraphy style.
Aesthetic composition of the text, including balance of mass and white space.
Artistic harmony between the calligraphy tools used (pen, paper, and ink).
Technical accuracy and integrity of the letterforms according to calligraphy principles.
Visual consistency and flow within the composition.
