About the Cultural Events

Arabian horses have been long associated with Saudi Arabian cultural heritage as a great symbol and a legacy. Starting from their early presence in stone carvings extending across the Arabian Peninsula to the prosperous relationship that Saudis have today with their authentic horses, making the latter the center of many visual art and poetry pieces that seek to immortalize their attributes and actions.

Building on this unique relationship, the Ministry of Culture is participating in the 2022 Saudi Cup with various cultural programs, from activities that highlight the Saudi hospitality and generosity to exquisite costumes from our rich heritage, national melodies in line with the different race moments, and the different art forms that embody our love for these horses.

With this, we seek to offer an authentic Saudi experience that solidifies our local cultural identity and authentic heritage, of which horses were and are still an integral part.
